Your role as Project Manager
As our Project Manager New Product Introduction, you will be a pivotal part of our NPI department, playing a crucial role in creating new products and processes. In this role you plan, organize and oversee NPI projects from start to finish and ensure that the project is finalized to the contentment of all stakeholders, within the designated budget and timeline. You continuously improve and respect the phases as described and you ensure development of all process steps required, internal and external. The Project Manager NPI implements change management to avoid risk and support commercial objectives and develops a clear progress reporting for the individual process phases.
The role is expected to communicate effectively to internal and external stakeholders, use professional and methodical knowledge to analyse and solve problems in order to ensure successful project delivery. You put employees in their strength, build complementary project teams and drive cross-company cooperation and connect to other departments to share best practices.
Other responsibilities:

Develop and execute project plans to ensure delivery of technical and business requirements within approved budget and timeline in accordance with business gate review process.

Support each project with a milestone NPI tracker (APQP) to ensure all team members are up to date regarding product launches and critical dates & deadlines (risk management).

Support the NPI Director to execute product strategy and take ownership to maximise efforts and results.

Ensure all product submissions are managed and recorded and presented for approval where and when required.

Ensure stakeholders are informed with regular updates.

Be commercially aware during all aspects of development (change management) and ensure product costs are as accurate as possible.
Your profile
You recognize yourself in the following profile:

Preferably At least a Bachelor’s degree, qualified in relevant discipline.

At least 3 years proven experience as a Project Manager (NPI) in an automotive or aviation industry.

Fluent in English (written and verbal), Dutch and German are a plus.

Competencies are Strategic thinking, Customer Service/focus, Methodical knowledge, Leadership.

Teamplayer: You will keep abreast of the competitive set with regular updates to a wider team and work across teams to help and support where required.
